Even though gray is the new IT color, I have a hunch the red/brown/cream scheme will be making it’s way into main street interior design this year. For everyone who favors warm neutrals to cool neutrals, brown will be sticking around. As for all who went ape-y for orange, cooling down the accent color to some variety of red or poppy can update the look and add a punch of contemporary modernity where retro has been the rage. Don’t forget to add a dash of friction with some lime green or lemon yellow. I also hear neon colors are on the comeback.
